With a guarantee that your new rebuilt engine will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 6 months or 240 hours, pro-rated on parts TBO.

Based on 40 hours per month minimum usage.

Custom Airmotive performs many tear down and inspections of engines.  In the case of an insurance claim, we will be happy to provide your insurance adjuster the relative costs.

1. All parts recommended as per TCM Service Bulletin No. M87-11, Rev 2 and Textron Lycoming Service Bulletin No. 240M are replaced by Custom Airmotive 100%.
2. Also all pistons
3. All other parts are inspected by at least two different mechanics and replaced as necessary to insure a fit that is within new tolerances and limits.

By the following definition, which is an excerpt form the FAA advisory circular 43-11. par; 5, sub, par 2 (2), the above rebuild meets this definition.

A rebuilt engine as defined in FAR 91.175s, is a used engine that has been completely disassembled, inspected, repaired as necessary, reassembled, tested and approved in the same manner and to the same tolerances and limits as a new engine with either new or used parts. All parts used must conform to the production drawing tolerances and limits for new parts or be of approved oversized dimensions for a new engine.

In addition, all hardware that will lend itself to plating is plated: all parts are painted to give an appearance as good as, or in our opinion better than, new.
